A fellow artist made this glass flower with a silver centre and wanted to set it in its own setting to provide a unique ring, but also wanted a channel all the way round the outside. A template had to be made, cut from silver sheet then a bezel fashioned to the flower shape to accurately allow the glass flower to sit inside it, then a channel round the outside to be filled with resin. My job was to produce the setting, the ring was completed by Donna who kindly allowed to used the photo of her final piece.
