I wasn’t quite sure whether to take this one seriously at first  short of finding some tartan paint. However, never to be beaten, set about the task in hand. The correct clan tartan was found and turned into a high resolution image, which was then reduced and printed to show the full pattern and colours, before being precision cut to the width of the ring channel, sealed, applied to the ring and coated with clear resin to be filed and polished to completion.
