Two Spinner Rings
The only Spinner Rings I have made. Occasionally I like to do something for fun rather than ‘for business’. These were both ‘recycled’ from previous failures, for a monthly jewellery challenge. The Gold & Silver ring using a previously made experimental ring using Swarovski crystals, which I discovered loose their facets under resin and look like flat discs, so as a ring in its own right I considered a failure. It sat on back of the bench for a very long time before I decided to re-fashion it as part of this Spinner Ring with the complementary background oxidised circles. The pink one used one of my first attempts at setting very small stones in a thin band, which was literally just for practice. However, again re-purposed into this lovely textured Spinner Ring.
